I'm still working my way through KOTOR (and loving it, by the way) but I still managed to find some time this weekend to fire up Battlefield 1942. I really like the game, although it's going to take me a while before I'm up to speed with everyone else here. I suppose I should ask "why didn't anyone tell me sooner how good this game was!?" but of course the answer to that is "everyone did you idiot!", so it's best not to dwell on that. I've played a couple of games online, but quickly backed off to practice offline first. I've gotten the hang of infantry, and my tank driving skillz are passable, but I'm having a really hard time manning the airplanes. Anyone have any tips there? Short of a brief unintentional kamikaze attack, I haven't been able to accomplish much of anything by air. But who cares...I'm having a great time regardless.
