New Audigy Drivers

The guys at TopTechTips let us know that Creative has released new Audigy drivers and applications. Supposedly there's improved stability, EAX performance is enhanced and performance is improved for HyperThreading enabled machines.

I wish SONAR wasn't a buggy ass piece of software. Can anyone recommend an easy to use multitrack? I'm a semi-noob and someone is asking me for some software advice as well.
