Tomb Raider PC Date
GameSpot is reporting that the PC version of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness will be released in July. The PS2 version of the game is out in the US, and if early word is to be believed, they don't need to bother with a PC port.

I've read nothing but bad things about the controls in AoD, but this is where PC's beat out consoles. If a game is released on a console with a bunch of flaws, that's it baby, do not pass go, do not collect $200, and head straight for the bargian bin, but on the PC they can patch it up and fix it.
I liked the first Tomb Raider game, and the story of this one sounds interesting. If they do a PC version and fix it up out of the box or patch it till it works right, I might get it.-

I don't think it's a case of low production values. Every review I've read says that the content is there, it just feels a bit unfinished. Bad controls, clipping issues, stuff like that. Personally I don't see why they didn't wait till the next Tomb Raider movie hit the theaters and have a simultaneous release like a lot of companies have been doing lately (Hulk, Enter the Maitrix, Spiderman, X2)

Costs a lot of money to patch via Live though and Microsoft SERIOUSLY dislike publishers releasing half finished XBox games just so they can patch them via Live. Live patching is there for new content and improvements, not fixes to broken shit. They usually only allow patches for Live games and then they have to add new content too.
