New ATI Catalyst Release

If you own an ATI Radeon powered videocard, ATI has released some new drivers for them. You can grab the WinXP/2K or Win9x/ME version. There are many, many game fixes/improvements.

w00t, I like nVidia, but new driver updates are always a good thing...

Have these stabled out substantially yet? I'm debating upgrading to a 9700 Pro when they get cheaper.

  Apart from issues with antialiasing being switched on in a couple of games (Tribes 2 and Homeworld) I've had ZERO problems with mine

  Well better hurry soon, 9700 is being phased out for the 9600 and 9800 versions.

    better yet, get a 9500pro as it outperforms the new 9600pro and costs less :)

      A few best buys have the 9500 Pro still and the number of online etailers that have them in stock is dwindeling every week... I want one but can't afford it right now... ARGH!!!

        Get it used then online or locally. Used you can find them nearing ~$110 which is a great deal.

      9600pro overclocks pretty darn well tho
