ATI's Intel Chipset

Tech Report has a quick overview of ATI's Radeon 9100 IGP chips which was announced this morning. The Radeon 9100 IGP chipset has DDR400 memory and AGP 8X support, though the FSB is only 533MHz. ATI is targeting low cost PC with this desktop and mobile chipset.

    Pixel shaders and a cheap multi-monitor setup. It's amazing how lead-footed and docile nVidia look nowadays, is this the company that once chased, mauled and then ate the competition?

      It's amazing how some people think Nvidia is nowhere near dead :P Things are just starting to heat up now with ATI. Nvidia is pretty good to support AMD. It there was no Nforce motherboards, I would probably jumped to Intel after my GA-7DXR+ :P.

        It doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Did you mean to say "some people think nvidia is dead, but they are nowhere near dead" or something? The last part I understood at least.

        agreed; what's left for AMD chipsets that we can trust? All that's left is the NForce and whatever SiS spits out on the sidewalk.
