QuakeCon Tournaments Announced
The 2003 QuakeCon event's registration date and tournaments have been announced. Registration starts June 9, and there will be four events: Return to Castle Wolfenstein team tournament, Quake 3 1 vs 1 tournament, Quake 3 CTF tournament and a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory open tournament.

Looks like nvidia is putting up all the money.

Its QuakeCon...they generally have tournaments for games running on id engines. That said, someone might be having an unofficial tournament or two in the BYOC section maybe.
