New Splinter Cell Announced

Ubi Soft has just announced the new Splinter Cell game that was rumored for a while, Pandora Tomorrow. Due out in the first quarter of 2004, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow will be released on multiple platforms and add multiplayer online missions.

The game will bring back more of the single-player intrigue that made the original game a bestseller. With exciting new action scenes and a strong cinematic feel, the player will experience new and even more realistic surroundings. Building on Ubi Soft's strong commitment to online gaming, Pandora Tomorrow will the be the first stealth game ever to feature multiplayer online missions allowing several players to simultaneously share Sam Fisher's shadowy world of espionage.

I hate to say this but

Sam Fischer > Solid Snake

Don't get me wrong, Snake still rules but Fischer has a harder edge.

      Ah, but we wouldn't have a half way plausible covert operator of the like if he were of younger age. Finding people with Fisher's skills in the US military in their twenties is pretty laughable.

  The snake series is falling behind. After seeing the next game at E3 I was not impressed. Of course it is on the PS2 so the textures are crap, but still the game lacks the polish that splinter cell has.

  Sam Fischer may have calves of steel but Snake can just beat his ass on principle.

  Fischer: "You wouldn't hit a man with thermal/nightvision goggles would you?"
  really though.. i've yet to play splinter cell

    Snake can take on a mech, what would Fisher do in this situation? Pull out his non-lethal grenade luancher? Plus if you just compare the games Metal Gear Solid > Spinter Cell , the game play was dull
