GameCube PS2 Xbox Terminator 3 Announced Infogrames today announced that Black Ops Entertainment is developing Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, a video game based on the movie. The first person action game will appear on all the major consoles, and will feature Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice and likeness (a first). Also, like Enter the Matrix, the Terminator 3 game will feature exclusive footage shot specifically for the game. More info can be found here, the game is due out this fall.
GameCube Sonic Adventure DX News Sega has announced that the upcoming Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut will feature 12 hidden Game Gear games. Of course they didn't actually mention which games will be featured but surely we'll find out before release. There are also some new screenshots from the game which we have up locally here.
GameCube PS2 Xbox Mortal Kombat VI Online IGN is reporting that Mortal Kombat VI is already in development, and will hopefully be released late next year. The most important new feature? Online play.
PS2 Ratchet & Clank 2 Confirmed PS2.IGN speculated about it earlier this month and today Sony confirmed that Ratchet & Clank 2 is in development. Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, due out in November, will have "better elements of character growth", and twenty new weapons and gadgets along with other things. It is also said that Insomniac hope to creates a more RPG-esque game this time around.
GameCube PS2 Xbox Free Radical's Next Another one of those Computer & Video Games "exclusives", as they are reporting on the next Free Radical Design game. Free Radical was the company behind TimeSplitters and its sequel, and now they are working on a "secret third-person stealth-action title for all next-gen formats". A full announcement is expected at E3.
PS2 Xbox The Treason of Isengard Announced The guys at Surreal are working on another Lord of the Rings game, GameSpot has details and a few screenshots. Like last year's Fellowship of the Rings, The Treason of Isengard is a third person action adventure game featuring multiple playable characters. The game will ship late this year.
GameBoy Advance Latest Famitsu Scores Games Are Fun has posted the batch of GBA review scores from this week's issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu. Konami's Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow scored a great 34/40 (Gold Award), with a breakdown of 10, 9, 8, and 9. Capcom's Rockman Zero 2 got a 31/40, better than the original's (released as Mega Man Zero in the U.S.) 28/40. The breakdown for that game was 8, 8, 6, and 9.
GameCube PS2 Xbox GameBoy Advance Misc. MediaIGN has a few screenshots from Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, one of the games Vivendi Universal will show off at E3. They also have a few images from The Hulk and Crash Intro Kart. Locally we have shots from the GBA version of Wing Commander. Games Are Fun has some snaps from a photoshoot for a new Virtual View game series. Only in Japan folks.. Lastly, the official Enter the Matrix website has more screenshots and environment images.

        well...I suppose it wouldn't be that bad of a deal if it were value priced. I played through it on dreamcast and it was enjoyable. But since this port doesn't really feature any improvements in graphics whatsoever-besides for some crappy gamegear games i've played through ten years ago- it might be a better option to just buy a used dreamcast and the original if its over 20 dollars.

      Not really, I played it on DC. It's a good game though, much better than SA2.

      Sega could employ a three-step process to get me and many others excited about this game:

      1) Remove Game Gear games
      2) Replace with Sonic CD
      3) Profit

        Ditto, finished on DC. Better story than the second, but I prefered the more action focused second one personally. The adventure crap dragged it out pointlessly, that ain't what sonic is about. speed, Speed SPEED baby!
