Codemasters has released a new IGI2 update, offering a safemode patch to those of you "unable to play IGI2" or people "experiencing critical graphical issues". Thanks Blues News.

    "The executable works by changing DirectX settings in your computer's registry related to graphical performance. While we have not encountered any problems during testing, it might be possible that the changes made by using safemode setting could cause problems with other games or applications that you may be running."

    Uh, guys.. if you can't get your code straightened out, don't start editing my DirectX settings and possibly causing harm to my other software. This screams poor coding.
