GTA1 For Free

A slow loading Rockstar Classics page is now offering the first Grand Theft Auto game as a free download. You will need to register on their page to download the 328mb file, and while it's been updated to run under Windows, it's not guaranteed to work on everyone's machine.

      I don't agree. It adds flavor when reading. Almost like saying an elipsis or parenthesis don't mean anything when read. Well they do.

    Oh, this game made it's rounds on the $15 shelf. Had the "special edition" with the expansion pack and everything.

      never played the expansion on the PC ..i unfortunatly bought the PSX version.. insert London 1969 disc, let it load, swap in GTA disc, let it verify, swap back to London 1969 disc so that you could finally play. Lame.
      
      Expansion packs on consoles just don't work. :/

        Lucky for me I had a Gameshark. I never owned the original, but I bought 1969 and was able to just play that.
        
        I have 1969 on PC too. Freeloader had it up before they became a subscription service. Unfourtunatly, all the music is missing.
