LOTR RTS Info

The guys at GameSpot have posted some info on the Lord of the Rings RTS game in development at Liquid Entertainment. The War of the Ring game was shown at a recent Vivendi press event, and GameSpot's article mentions the two factions (good and evil, shocking), planned missions in the game, multiplayer plans and a few other tidbits.

when i see something like this, i just get scared:

War of the Ring isn't being designed as a hard-core real-time strategy game, but rather more as an RTS that will be accessible and fun for both strategy fans and fans of The Lord of the Rings who might never have played a strategy game before.

  Me too, cause we all know that only Blizzard can make RTS games accessible for n00bs AND fun for hardcore players.
