If you checked out those Savage2000 articles linked earlier today you probably noticed that benchmarks are faily impressive, but a bit behind the GeForce numbers. Well word from Savage2000.com that has been confirmed by S3 is that they are dropping the specs of the card a bit. It will now only be running a 125mhz core and 155mhz memory clock, which comes out to about 500megatexels fill rate (125 x 4 from that quad pipeline). Originally they had planned on 700megatexels, or a 175mhz core.
