In the "Cons" section on their BF1942 review, GameSpy should have added:

"- Powered by GameSpy."

Funny that they didn't do that.

    omfg there's no bump-mapping on the teeth of the characters

    I'm usually pretty critical about graphics, but I think the graphics are quite nice in BF1942. Not spectacular, but not cartoony, garish, or overdone to detract from the game. I got no problem with 'em.

      Same here, I think the graphics in BF1942 is just fine. The environments are well-modeled and most importantly, have a good layout. The whole game is so freakin' fun I am starting to feel worry about my upcomming exams :/.
