ATI Catalyst v02.2

12

ATI released a new set of Catalyst drivers yesterday that we uploaded to FileShack but forgot to mention. You can grab the WinXP, Win2K, or Win9x/ME set. They are allegedly much faster in high resolutions.

I think that ATI's drivers should be name Detonators since they basically detonate your system and cause problems.

I think the same suits it fine!
A substance, usually used in small amounts relative to the reactants, that modifies and increases the rate of a reaction without being consumed in the process.

So it screws everything up except the card. Pretty good naming if you ask me :)

Odd i never had a problme on my old GF1DDR, under win98 iwth them, in fact I think thats the version its still running. Ran everything just fine on my old VIA based Athlon 750, well everything except a certain engine which I simply avoided from then on and intend to contnue that way. But that engine ran bad on all driver versions, and on my previous system [p2-450] as well, so.......

23.11 under Win2k/XP blew up for a _lot_ of people, and it wasn't tied to any particularly chipset or processor (one of the machines I had it with was a P3 on an i815E board)
