Last night's news blurb about the cash prize for an Xbox Linux port was pretty significant. For any CD-based system, the "boot disc" is the holy grail for amateur developers, as it means any program written by any schlub can be run on an unmodified Xbox. Is such a thing even possible on the Xbox? Who knows, but at least there's money in place to make it worth someone's time to figure out. It'll be interesting to see how this story plays out.

	GTA: Vice City Revealed! Well no, not really... Teasing gamers to no end, Rockstar Games has launched a fake web site for their upcoming GTA: Vice City. At E3 I had Rockstar reps swear that the game will be out this holiday season, despite the fact that it wasn't being shown in any way (even behind closed doors) at the show. Although if this site is any indication, the game will be firmly rooted in 80's culture.
	Rambus Working on PS3? Apparently Rambus is going around saying that their memory technology is the only one that will be able to meet Sony's insane requirements for the Playstation 3, which if this news item is to be believed, will be somewhere in the area of 12 GB/sec performance. Sony of course, has yet to comment on the issue.
	Malice Movie Team Xbox has posted a movie showing off Malice, the platform action title from Argonaut and Sierra. As was announced a few months back, this game is no longer an Xbox exclusive.
	Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Preview A new preview of the upcoming Xbox version of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is up at GameSpot this evening.
	NFL 2k3 Movies A handful of movies from Sega's NFL 2k3 are up at IGN tonight.
	Robotech Media Over at Pocket.IGN they have posted new media from Robotech: The Macross Saga, which hasn't gotten as much press as Battlecry, the cel-shaded title for Xbox, GC and PS2, but is looking quite good in its own right.
	Kingdom Hearts Preview GameForms has posted a new in-depth preview of Square's oddball Disney RPG Kingdom Hearts, which is already out in Japan, and will be out here in the US later this year.
	Blinx Movies Here are some direct-feed movies showing off Blinx, the Sonic-meets-TiVo platform title that was revealed recently at E3.
