Just got the PR from the folks at Valve Software on this one. It looks like the Day of Defeat mod team has decided to get a bit more buddy buddy with Valve.

DoD 3.0 Coming Next Week

Valve and the Day of Defeat team today announced an official partnership for continued development of the World War II-based Half-Life MOD. In addition, Day of Defeat 3.0 is due to launch next week, and will mark the introduction of new missions and gameplay types, a new player class, and more. First shown at the Third Annual Half-Life MOD Expo in San Francisco late last year, Day of Defeat is a team-based action game based upon the great battles, equipment, and scenarios of WWII.
