AMD and Intel Chip Dates

According to a news post on The Inquirer, AMD and Intel are both looking to unveil their "fastest CPU evar" in January. On January 7 Intel will release the 2.2Ghz Pentium 4, and right around that time AMD will be releasing their 2000+ Athlon XP.

But of course, the AMD chip will be faster than the higher clocked Intel chip. Except in Quake3 where it counts

  well intel has been losin out on that end now too. Wolfenstein is a quake3 engine based game, more specifically team arena based. AMD beats intel in wolfenstein.
