Civ 3 Patch Update And More
Two big pieces of news for Civ 3 fans. For once, Firaxis' Jeff Morris made the following forum post at Apolyton regarding the upcoming patch (1.16f).
Things are on target for a Friday QA sign-off, but let's say Saturday just to be safe. If nothing resets it by Wednesday, we'll release the readme.txt additions for you to digest. I think you'll be pleased.I was gonna hold off posting until the readme was out, but another great bit of news is that (according to Apolyton's site), the newly released nVidia drivers located here fix the slow scrolling problem. This is the problem of where it takes a good five seconds to draw the screen unless you roll back your drivers to pre-detonator XP versions.
