I've gotten a few reports from @Home customers that their service has been shut off. I cant seem to find any way to get an accurate count on just how many people lost their connection but there have been reports from both coasts as well as some central folks. Others are reporting lack of mail (hi Mom!) or news servers but continued service. At any rate this is why I launched ShackDSL in the first place :P If anyone is able to find some accurate numbers or information about how many @Home customers are shafted right now drop us a line. Our internal numbers are showing about 25-30% less cablemodem visitors than usual for a Saturday. Sent out a few emails trying to get answers on when service will be restored but I kinda doubt I'll get responses. update: According to a bit on /., some @Home guys are just missing DNS servers but their actual service is working.
