Duke Nukem Interview

HomeLAN Fed has posted an interview with Donald Case of ARUSH Entertainment, developers behind the upcoming Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project game. This is the episodic Duke game which has been in development for a while now. Donald talks about the game's New York setting, and how the September 11 attacks have changed not much of the game's content but rather things like the company logo which showed the New York skyline under nuclear attack. Other questions are about the game's 3D engine, working with 3D Realms, levels, weapons and enemies in the game, multiplayer modes and the possibility of this game being sold at retail stores, among other things.

HomeLAN - What weapons will be in the final version of the game?
Donald Case - Duke will have seven butt-kicking weapons to choose from. There is his trusty Golden Eagle, an assault rifle, a shotgun, pipe bombs, and three very powerful and special weapons we are keeping under wraps for a while longer

HomeLAN - What sort of levels and settings will be in the game?
Donald Case - There will 8 episodes available at release, and each episode is very deep, transitioning from one mission to the next. The episodes are distinguishable as each one takes place in a different area of the city. There are also skill levels to choose from, in the typical easy, medium and hard range.
