HL v1108 & CS v1.3 Today

We've been hearing about this one for who knows how long it seems but it's finally upon us. Half-Life v1108 as well as Counter-Strike v1.3 are planned to be released at 1pm CST today. We'll be slapping up the info and mirrors etc as you'd expect although as you can see in werd we're still not quite ready with all of our server shuffling. Might pull a rabbit out of our hat though or something. Here's the latest v1108 brief interview at Stomped, and there is a slightly longer one we mentioned yesterday at Speakeasy. Hey lets start bugging them about Counter-Strike v1.4 now!

What are your plans for version 1.4?
cliffe: Pretty early to say at this point, with 1.3 just coming out. But I'd really like to get a slightly new gameplay mode in there for mappers to play around with and test out. Nothing is concrete now, but just something to try out. I'll keep our site updated about that and any features for upcoming versions.
