The Linux port of Counter-Strike 1.3 has been released early over at the official website. This allows server admins to upgrade before the big Half-Life 1.0.0.8 / CS 1.3 release tomorrow. There's a 31mb update from CS 1.1, or a 86mb full download. Curiously enough, an email we just received from Valve listing all the files that are going to be released tomorrow, did not include anything related to an upgrade of the mod version of Counter-Strike. I sent off an email to Valve asking about this, and was assured an update for the mod version will be released.
