The Neverwinter Vault posted an update on the story of NWN. Someone voiced his/her concern about the NWN story not living up to BG standards. Don Moar (from Bioware) replied:

Hey, Neverwinter Nights will have a fantastic story, the Official Campaign, which can be played both individually and in multiplayer (or any combination). We're simply providing the NWToolset, the program our designers are using to create the campaign, with NWN to allow users to create their own adventures, too. Our focus has always been on providing a great game that can be played as soon as you open the box.
