Saw that Sharky Extreme has posted a preview from ECTS of MDK2. Topics include characters, graphics and this:

MDK was one of those titles that should have sold well, but didn't. Reviewers loved it, and rightly so. The graphics were gorgeous, the gameplay fast and fun, and it was even one of the first games to include a sniping mode (and a damn good one at that). Yet it didn't sell. While it racked up a reasonable amount of sales, it wasn't the hit it was expected to be, so Shiny went back to the drawing board.
