The latest version of Day of Defeat is now out. 1.3B to be exact. As always there are several locations to download this 5mb upgrade from (a full version is available too). For those not familiar with Day of Defeat it's a Half-Life mod simulating WW2. Of course nothing can touch Counter-Strike, but it seems pretty popular. Here's a list of changes (thanks Stomped)

- redone spawn speed system
- fixed bandaging cheat
- fixed prone speed cheat
- fixed mp_friendlyfire
- fixed sprites showing 'black box' on some cards
- fixed transparency of explosions
- new explosion sprites
- new weapon sounds
- other new sounds
