BeOS Gets Funky at ECTS
At ECTS, Europe's answer to E3, Be Inc, finally decided to show off some of the gaming and multimedia capabilities of it's OS. They demo'd Blender, a freeware 3D modeling and rendering program for Windows, Linux and BeOS, and several games, including Quake 2, Quake 3, and Civilization: Call to Power. They say Quake 3 isn't quite ready to be released yet (the frame rate is bad and the mouse is messed up) but it does run and looks good. I've played with BeOS a bit, and it is quite cool. Check it out if you get the chance. Thanks Peter.

Hey Steve, on Netscape this \"Reaction\" text box is really really tiny and doesn\'t wrap the text. Can you fix it please?
