Warcraft 3 Goes 2002

With 5 months left in 2001, Blizzard has already announced that their upcoming 3D RTS Warcraft 3 won't be released until 2002.

We firmly believe that this additional development time will prove invaluable, ensuring that Warcraft III will expand upon the legendary gameplay experience previously found in the critically acclaimed Warcraft series. Announcements regarding further details and specifics of the Warcraft III beta test will be released in the near future.

Of course Blizzard is no stranger to product delays, Diablo 2 and many of their other games had the same happen to them.
