Got some mail pointing me to GameSpot's Space Ops Preview. It's pretty short, but wow, I'm hurting for news this morning. This preview talks about the improvements to the engine and some gameplay changes. Hey, you know, I'd like to see somebody make a sequel with an inferior engine. That would show some cajones.
