As promised here is my hands-on preview of Max Payne after visiting 3D Realms last week. If you havent heard yet the game should be going gold and showing up on shelves probably within a month. Not much more to say, here's the obligatory quote of myself and a uh.. link.

No jump puzzles. Also sadly, no monster trucks.

Max Payne is played from a 3rd person perspective with a locked camera most of the time. The pivot point of the camera appears to be a point between the camera and the player instead of the way most 3rd person style games are. (Pivot at the player point) The subtle difference makes a FPS player feel a little bit more at home as the movements are a little less disorienting. [snip]
