There's a Dreamcast Quake 3 map editorial on EuroGamer, with Gestalt voicing his opinion on id's supposed release now, patch later mentality that has made the Dreamcast and PC version of Quake3 incompatible. So despite the release of the Dreamcast map pack (story), console and PC players still can't play against each other.
