Over at Alliance Games is a new release of the Alliance mod for Quake 3. It has Q3 1.29f compatibility, and fixes/tweaks a bunch of stuff. There's a list of all that on the news page. The 2.5 Beta upgrade is 14.2mb for Windows, and 14.1mb for Linux and the Mac version.
