Intel on VIA & Nvidia

There are some comments from Intel about VIA & NVidia saying they don't need these two chip makers at all. About VIA Intel VP Anand Chandrasekher said that they wouldn't be able to make a faster Pentium 4 chipset than Intel's own 850 chipset and while Chandrasekher thinks the nForce chipset is cool, he doubts it will find a place in the market.

Wow, Intel sure isn't making many friends these days...

NVIDIA, VIA, Rambus, AMD.. Those are some high powered enemies.

    yes, i'd have to say they are, their lawyers are relentless animals.
    
    sure they might not command respect, or much in the way of assets, but they are no small player.
