Starfield Update 1.8.86 patch notes implement DLSS support

Starfield’s previously beta-state DLSS support for the game is now available for all players on PC. Bethesda Game Studios has been working to make DLSS a proper inclusion in the game’s features for a while already, and was even able to launch the feature in a beta patch. As of Update 1.8.86, Starfield officially unleashed DLSS support for PC players with NVIDIA graphics cards.

Bethesda Game Studios launched Starfield Update 1.8.86 and its accompanying patch notes this week. The big highlight of these patch notes is the official launch of NVIDIA DLSS support on PC. Players with compatible NVIDIA graphics cards can now access features such as DLSS Super Resolution, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency, and DLSS Frame generation. While this was in beta in a previous patch, it’s now ready for full, public release. You can see all of the other changes in Starfield Update 1.8.86 below:


NVIDIA DLSS Support

This update introduces Nvidia DLSS support for our PC players. Compatible Nvidia graphic cards can now use DLSS Super Resolution, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing (DLAA), NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency, and DLSS Frame generation.
