The reward for completing the Twilight Triumph in Destiny 2 in 2024 has been revealed: you will receive a Lost Memento and a special emblem. Unfortunately, the in-game description of the Twilight Triumph offers no hints or clues as to what you must do to actually complete it. The good news is that the Destiny community has already cracked the case.
The Twilight Triumph is found by navigating to the Journey page, selecting the Triumphs tab, opening the Episode: Revenant node, going to the General section, and then flipping to the last page. Completing the Twilight Triumph unlocks the Lost Memento as well as a purple emblem.
Though the Triumph does state the reward (Lost Memento), it does not provide any details on what you must do. The Destiny 2 community has worked out the steps. These come courtesy of Reddit user KazMcMiller:
To begin with, you will need to start unlocking some masks by completing Event Challenges. The Tower Staff mask is awarded by focusing an Eerie Engram at Eva Levante. This unlocks the Hocus Focusing challenge in the Event Card. At this point, equip the Tower Staff mask and speak with Eva, she will ask you to find missing candy bags. You can then go and speak with Saint-14 in the Hangar while wearing the mask and he'll hand over the bag, which will check off the first task.
The Cursed Thrall mask is unlocked by defeating 100 Headless Ones in Lost Sectors. Just keep grinding the activity until you get it done. You should be able to get at least 13 defeats per run, which means it'll be over in fewer than 10 runs.
Finally, the Finalized Ghost mask requires you to earn candy from activities. This may be the most time-consuming one, as you'll need to just keep on playing until you unlock it. At this point, remember to equip a Sword and get to work.
With the masks unlocked, you can begin knocking off the tasks. The Twilight Triumph 2024 itself isn’t difficult and will likely be quick to complete. Once it’s done, you’ll have the Lost Memento and can – hopefully – start getting more to randomly drop. Take a look at our Destiny 2 Strategy Guide for more help with Seasonal Events.
