Xbit Labs has a brief news story about the status of the STM/PowerVR Kyro2 videocard. Even though it offers a great price/performance ratio, only Hercules and InnoVision have announced products. Creative was interested at first but not anymore, and it might just be that NVidia is pressuring the other companies to not produce videocards based on the Kyro2. Since nobody else has GeForce2/3-like products companies give in to NVidia pretty easily.
