Tonight, on the Stevetendo show, we’re going to help Captain Olimar get home in Pikmin 1. This is my very first playthrough of any Pikmin game and I think I’m getting hooked on the franchise. I didn’t realize just how dark the Pikmin franchise can be. You really feel something when you send a Pikmin to its doom in a puddle of water or blow it up with a bomb.
Tonight, we’ll try to take another step in helping Captain Olimar by finding more of his spaceship parts. I did always find it a cool easter egg in the game where Olimar’s ship is named the Dolphin. Dolphin was the code name for the Game Cube during development. The Game Cube was the first system to have a Pikmin game on it. Set to go live at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, see if we have any innocent Pikmin meet their demise as well as help Captain Olimar get home!
Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into the Stevetendo show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
If you can't make tonight's show, you can watch Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. It feels like we have been finishing playthroughs left and right on the show lately. This week will have another new playthrough starting up on Tuesday night. Wednesday night should be the final Live A Live episode but I have said that in the past for other games and been wrong.
There is so much to do in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the Shacknews staff has got you covered. If you need pointers on how to find something or defeat that tough boss, check out all the guides and videos Shacknews has on the subject. Follow these tips and you’ll be saving Princess Zelda from evil in no time. If you’d rather catch up on old school gaming, like the Stevetendo show, subscribe to the Shacknews Twitch channel through Prime Gaming.
It isn’t a baseball night in the Stevetendo show house but there is an event going on in baseball. Tonight is the home run derby in Seattle and we’ll be checking to see if Pete Alonso can win the event for a third time, thus the Mets part of the stream. Also if you see a game on the Nintendo Switch Online service that you want to see on the Stevetendo show, suggest it since we'll be finishing up a few playthrough soon. I can't play Super Mario RPG all the time on the show so I'm always open to new games to play( I can't play Super Mario RPG on the show all the time, right?)
