With the release of the PlayStation VR2 many games that were already VR-compatible on the PlayStation have moved to bring new features that take advantage of Sony’s latest VR headset, including No Man’s Sky. Hello Games has moved a new update for No Man’s Sky that overhauls its VR mode in big ways, not only making it a better experience overall, but also including key updates that specifically take advantage of the PlayStation 5 and PS VR2’s hardware. No Man's Sky Update 4.10 made major overhauls to the VR Mode in time for the PS VR2's launch.

Hello Games pushed the No Man’s Sky’s 4.10 Update and its accompanying patch notes to all platforms on February 22, 2023. While there are improvements for all platforms in the update, such as new Expeditions and dynamic resolution scaling, players with access to the PS VR2 will see the biggest improvements as the update brings a number of features and improvements that take advantage of the headset. That includes headset haptics, adaptive trigger support, and various graphical tweaks to the game. You can see the entirety of the patch notes below:
