The CeBit hardware show in Germany is going down right now and some reports are beginning to show up on the web. You can check out what AcesHardware and FastGraphics have to say so far

Intel demoed a 2 GHz Pentium 4 at their booth and it was pretty impressive. It was also confirmed once again that Intel will indeed launch a 2 GHz Pentium 4 for Socket 423 in the third quarter [...] The AMD Palomino, a slightly revised and improved version of the Athlon, will be launched at 1.5 GHz and above in the third quarter.
