The PlayStation Showcase was full of announcements from both first and third-party games coming to PlayStation systems. One of these titles was Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which we previously learned about at E3 earlier this year. During the event, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was confirmed to launch on March 25, 2022.
We learned about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ release date in a brand new trailer that debuted during the PlayStation Showcase. We get some narration from the titular Tiny Tina, setting up the return of the Dragon Lord. The entire game seems to be taking place within a D&D campaign, and the trailer shows us the wild fantasy world that Tiny Tina has conjured up. We also see several of the creatures that players will face during their journey.
Following the release of the trailer, Gearbox Software shared additional details about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. “Create your own hero with an expansive multiclass system that lets you mix and match six unique character skill trees, all with their own awesome abilities. Level up, refine your build, expand your arsenal, and become the ultimate Fatemaker.” Players can either experience the story alone, or play with up to three friends.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was first revealed earlier this summer and is a spinoff of the Borderlands series. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is set to launch on March 25, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. This was just one of several pieces of news we got at the PlayStation Showcase, which included Spider-Man 2 and God of War: Ragnarok.
