It’s once again time for GameStop (GME), one of the most talked-about companies on the stock market, to hold its quarterly earnings conference call. Here, we’ll get to hear from executives and leadership at the gaming retailer about how the business performed over the last quarter, as well as what it anticipates for the future. Whether you own GameStop (GME) stock or not, it’ll be a call worth listening to. Here’s how you can listen to the GameStop (GME) Earnings Call.
You can listen to the GameStop (GME) Q1 2021 Earnings Call today at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET on the Shacknews Twitch channel, as we will be streaming the entire conference call live. If you don’t feel like going over to Twitch, you can also watch/listen to the broadcast using the video embed above.
Coincidentally (or maybe by design), today also marks Ryan Cohen’s first official day as Chairman of GameStop. During the company’s annual meeting, Cohen spoke about his outlook and the new role. “We are trying to do something that nobody in the retail space has ever done,” Cohen said, as reported by Bloomberg. There’s a possibility that we could also hear Cohen speak during today’s earnings call.
This call is also important because there’s a chance we may learn about the company’s next CEO. We already know that George Sherman will be stepping down from the role effective next month, but still have no word on his successor. There’s a solid chance that this will change today.
The Q1 2021 GameStop (GME) Earnings Call will begin in less than an hour. For any major announcements that come out of the call, you can expect to read about them on Shacknews’ topic page dedicated to GameStop.
