The International Game Developers Association has published the list of nominees for the Game Developers Choice Awards, where the winners are picked by fellow developers. Among the nominees are the Counter-Strike team for The First Penguin Award (first game), John Carmack for Community Contribution and Deus Ex and No One Lives Forever in the list of Game of the Year nominees.
