Here's one of those top10 articles that people seem to love. The top 10 enemies & opponents in computer games of all time. Although their choices are obviously silly its a pretty good question. I'll share my top10 that I can think of in the next 60 seconds and my past few years of gaming just because:

The Romero - DOOM2 Motherbrain - Metroid Bowser - SuperMario Gannon - Legend of Zelda Lord Tyler - FAKK2 Those damn bats - Old Apple Conan game Walter Payton - Tecmo Bowl Obelisks - Command & Conquer Cyberdemon .. ok its too damn early in the morning
