Today’s Ubisoft Forward preshow kicked off with some interesting news for VR lovers out there. On top of a special Far Cry VR experience, Ubisoft is also currently working on AGOS: A Game of Space, which is set to release on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Valve Index on October 28, 2020.
From the look of things, players will take a step into a beautifully rendered world based on realistic physics. You’ll be able to pilot your ship around and complete different experiments with the world. You’ll be able to craft probes, unlock new parts for your ship, and improve your entire setup as you face new dangers and explore the untouched darkness of space.
Aside from that, we really don’t have any in-depth ideas of what to expect from AGOS: A Game of Space when it arrives later this year. It is really cool to see Ubisoft experimenting with new VR titles, though, as Star Trek: Bridge Crew did offer a unique experience, even if it didn’t see all that much commercial success.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on AGOS: A Game of Space as the weeks countdown to release. For more info, be sure to head over to the official website and make sure you also check out the rest of the announcements and news from today’s Ubisoft Forward. We’ve compiled it all over in our Ubisoft Forward 2020 topic, which should make it much easier to sort through and find what you’re looking for.
