Apache spotted this post on the Star Wars Online forum where Verant's Raph Koster talks about upgrades of content and possibly system requirements during the life of the game. They do plan to continue to improve the game after release, besides just the normal bug fixes.

      hehe, I can't wait to get killed over and over again whilst playing as Jar Jar, that's the only reason I want to play as him. So I can feed my inner desires to see Jar Jar hunted down and killed over and over and over and over.
