New DOOM & Linux

A lot of Linux users have been pretty concerned about the new DOOM game showing up on their OS. John Carmack makes a brief statement here saying that it will show up, not to worry. Thanks [ZZ]Furz

  to be precise, "...the first test is...still a very long time away..."
  
  8-10 months for the IHV is my guess.

    I hope they don't give too much away in the test, esp since it's supposed to be a good single player game.
    
    Q3TEST ruined a lot of the excitement for Q3 I would have had.
