More than a decade since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare changed the face of gaming and catapulted the shooter series into legend, the original development team at Infinity Ward is preparing to release the spiritual follow up. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare aims to strip down the series to what made it world-famous while offering the best graphics in franchise history. As the series was born on PC, it is no surprise that the PC version of Modern Warfare will be the showcase version of the game. To get the best experience, you’ll need to know the minimum requirements as well as what specs you need to enjoy the game at its highest settings.
To ensure you can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on the PC, you must meet the minimum requirements. The folks at Infinity Ward have been kind enough to share this information on their official website, as well as explain the eye-catching storage space requirements. “In each of the Specs, the HDD references HD space of 175GB. 175GB is the storage space we recommend players keep available in order to download the post-launch content we’ll be bringing to Modern Warfare. At launch, the initial download will be smaller.”
