Vault Keys are a brand-new item that have begun to appear in the latest season of Apex Legends. If you want to open up the various vaults situated around Worlds Edge, then you’re going to need to know how to find Vault Keys, a special new item available in Season 3.

How to get Vault Keys in Apex Legends

Like many of the other items that you can find in Apex Legends, Vault Keys are an special addition that can be found scattered around the game world. If you want to get your hands on a Vault Key, then you’re going to need to look out for the weird polygonal orbs that have now begun to appear around World’s Edge.

These orbs often shine different colors and when destroyed will drop a ton of loot. Unfortunately, nabbing a Vault Key isn’t guaranteed, so you’ll want to go around look for these items until you manage to get your hands on one. We haven’t found any dedicated spawns for Vault Keys just yet, so just drop into the match and look around for colored orbs floating a few feet above the ground.

Once you have a Vault Key, the locations of each vault will be added to your map, and you’ll also be able to tell which vaults have already been accessed by other players. Mark the nearest closed vault and start making your way there. Somethings to keep in mind, though, is that many players will want access to the high-value loot inside, so expect several squads to be set up along the way.
