Any fans of turn-based strategy out there? Well, if you've been looking for a great game to add to your PlayStation library, then Sid Meier has quite the treat for you. Announced during today's Sony State of Play, the Civilization series is finally making the jump to Sony's console with Civilization 6.
The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4 on November 22, 2019, and will include some special bundle offers for players who want to enjoy all of the DLC that has been released so far. The base version of Civilization 6 will arrive on PlayStation 4 for the usual $60 price that new games tend to run. However, PS4 users will also be able to pick up all of the game’s expansions so far in one handy $50 bundle. This bundle will include:
On top of that, PlayStation 4 owners who purchase the game on the console will receive the Nubia Civilization & Scenario Pack, as well as the Khmer and Indonesia Civilization & Scenario Pack for absolutely free. This is a fantastic value for Civilization fans looking to get their fix on the PlayStation 4, and one that we might even think about picking up just so we have the game available on another great platform.
When it comes to turn-based strategy, the Civilization series has always offered some of the best options for players, especially when it comes to offering historical-based gameplay. We’re definitely excited to see Civilization 6 expanding to other platforms, and hopefully, this means we can expect additional console support for the next Civilization game whenever it arrives somewhere down the line. Xbox One players won't need to fret, either, as Civilization 6 will also be making the jump to Microsoft's console at the same time.
This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen Civilization 6 make the jump to a new platform. In fact, Civilization 6 is already available on the iPad, which means you can even play it on the go if you want to!
