One of the many challenges and collectibles you can find around the various planets in Borderlands 3 tasks you with reading and collecting slabs that have Eridian written on them. In order to complete these challenges, and earn the rewards that they bring, you’re going to need to meet a few requirements. This guide will teach you everything you need to know to read Eridian Writings in Borderlands 3.
To get started reading Eridian Writings, you’re going to need to make your way through the main story campaign until you acquire the Eridian Analyzer. It’s one of the many rewards you’ll receive along the way, and it’s not going to be available until you are pretty far into the game. Once you have the Eridian Analyzer, you can then start deciphering the meaning behind the various slabs of Eridian Writing scattered around the different planets you travel to in Borderlands 3.

Okay, so you want more details, huh? Well, to start reading Eridian Writings, you’re going to need to make your way through the main campaign until you reach the Great Vault. After you kill the boss guiding the vault, head inside and grab the Eridian Analyzer off of the pillar in the center of the vault. This will allow you to interact with and decipher the Eridian Writings across the galaxy. Like most of the other collectibles in Borderlands 3, finding them all will net you some additional lore, as well as a nice little reward for your trouble.
