Sony will be airing a new State of Play stream next week, with a set of new game reveals and plenty of other new info.
Announced via the official PlayStation Blog, the upcoming stream is poised to last around 20 minutes and will be coming with a "fresh new look." There's going to be a slate of new game reveals, new content from PlayStation's Worldwide Studios, and "a host of other updates."
PlayStation has confirmed, however, that there won't be any updates related to their next-gen plans in this streaming episode. They didn't mention anything about there not being any information about The Last of Us Part 2 or anything, though, so that's probably fair game.
The last stream above was back in May, earlier this year. The stream will be live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook on Tuesday, September 24 at 1:00pm Pacific Time / 4:00pm Eastern Time. Be sure to come hang out with us at Shacknews as we bring you all the announcements from the stream as they happen. We're curious about what will end up happening, though if there's a bunch of new games being announced, we have no idea what might be coming with the stream.
It's just good that Sony is reaching out to fans now with updates, hopefully on the games we've been waiting to hear more about, especially since they didn't have a presence at E3 2019 and Tokyo Game Show is obviously only for people who have the time to travel overseas since they aren't constantly working. And can understand Japanese, obviously. We kid, but hopefully there's a ton of cool stuff on the way. Don't worry, we'll keep you posted. What are you most looking forward to learning more about?
